Born in Liverpool in 1966 I was raised in Wiltshire and have a lifelong passion for the county: its countryside, history and countless prehistoric sites. As a musician I have toured the world giving concerts and in 2013 (at the age of 47) graduated with a BA from the Open University in archaeology and classical studies. It was then a question of how to apply my experience as a traveler, my education and my love of Wiltshire.
I set up Oldbury Tours at the end of 2014 and have juggled music and my tour company since then. With Oldbury Tours I provide bespoke tours of Wiltshire, focusing particularly on the prehistoric landscapes surrounding Avebury and Stonehenge. These two sites are deservedly world famous and together define a UNESCO World Heritage Site. However there is a host of lesser known sites that I like to explore without which the story of Stonehenge and Avebury is not complete. I look forward to showing you around.
I am married to a violinist and have three daughters at university or beyond and a five year old son.
